At FLOSC this June, we wanted promote more engagement in the community for the children. During the whole month of June we wanted to get out in our community to promote keeping our community clean. We had children leave the centre in small groups to explore our community and clean up rubbish/if possible fix broken equipment. We had one of our community members Gill buy each of our little explorers an ice block as a sign of appreciation for all of their efforts in looking after our community.

This has been such an awesome experience for all of FLOSC, especially knowing that even a little effort can help the world around us and inspire others. With all your support we hope to continue the Explorers initiative next term and long into the future
