Learning Story

This morning our preppies learnt how to make toast!  For a lot of people making toast is a super simple task but for some of our preps it’s a fun new learning experience.  McKenzie was one of our preps who was eager to gain the toast making skill.  Her friend Natalie a pro toast maker was there to help and teach McKenzie.  It was really great to see Natalie so happy and willing to help her friend.  McKenzie ended up burning her toast so we taught her along with a few other kids how to scrape the black bits off when it gets burnt (another great life skill).  It was a great morning of learning life skills and kids building each other up and helping each other learn and grow.  Plus we got to eat toast, so who wouldn’t be happy.
